Germany, Wehrmacht. A General Assault Badge, Special Grade 50, By Rudolf Karneth Auction maker marked "HAMILTON" and covered(Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen mit Einsatzzahl 50). Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number 50, overlaid by a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a barrel hinge and banjo style
