The average age of the blend is 35 years old. All Frapin Cognacs undergo a natural fermentation with no filtration to retain freshness of fruit. The wine is then double distilled in a copper Charentes, on lees, before ageing in Limousin oak casks. The distillation on lees gives a lifted aromatic and pretty nose to
